What is Plagiarism?
Based on the Oxford dictionary plagiarism is the practice of taking someones work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. Plagiarism is a crime, just like stealing and fraud. Many universities do not have strong penalties, either a student is expelled or suspended. Plagiarism in the real world is different and you can see up to ten years in prison based on the amount of work is plagiarized. There are four types of Plagiarism.
